Lesson Plan Reflection:

A few weeks ago Chris and I did our lesson in class on sequences. I felt the lesson went well. The timing of the game and the lesson itself seemed to all work out. I felt that the smart board application at the end was an excellent idea and would work with this lesson. The students seemed to enjoy the sense of competition that the game created, and they were working to try to figure out the pattern, which was the goal. In the future, I would probably have the game prepared already on the board for the game with the whole class, and I also think that chips or some other sort of pieces would be better than just ripped pieces of paper.

Digital Story Reflection:

The process of creating our digital story was a long one. It took us a while to get together all of the images and music needed to make the video. Then the making of the video itself also took some time. We had to figure out how to put the images together and what to say about them to get across our message. All in all, the process was long but interesting. It was a different experience for me as I have never really a video before. It is definitely useful knowledge moving forward, though. Now if I ever want or need to make a video again, I will at least know where to start.

Day 1 End

As we are leaving class today, I still have we still have no idea what we are doing for our digital story. Me and Chris are working in math with sequences, so we are having trouble deciding how to make this topic into a digital story, but we'll figure it out.We will be using our friend's camera to help us make the video, so we at least have that part covered. Hopefully we can come up with something interesting.

Day 1

Now that I finally got my blog to work, I can post something. Today I think we will learn more about our blog pages, and begin to work on our digital stories with our partners.
